Non-Central Staffing Scheme of Department of Personnel & Training
(Non-CSS of DoPT)
Isolated posts under various Departments and Ministries in Government of India and the posts
of Commissions, Autonomous Bodies, Authorities, Trusts, Boards, Societies, etc. constitute
non-CSS of DoPT. On behalf of Institutes/Ministries and Bodies the DoPT seeks nominations
of willing officers and processes the cases for approval of the concerned Department/Ministry/Body.
The willing officers may look for the vacancy circulars of Establishment Officers Division of DoPT
in GOI at http://persmin.nic.in/vac1.html.
Chief Vigilance Officers in CPSUs
These posts are categorised as Central Staffing Scheme posts of the DoPT. Usually a circular is sent
to all the Ministries and to Chief Secretaries by DoPT during the month of November every year
seeking nominations of eligible officers in the prescribed proforma. They also give a list of posts
vacant/likely to fall vacant.
The interested officers may fill in applications in the prescribed format and forward through the
State Governments or the respective organisations to the DoPT.
